Construction of an Aloft Hotel at 50 Trinity Place in New York City is underway. The reinforced concrete superstructure also includes a pair of angled columns that flank the corner of the project. This section on the lower floors would frame the main entrance to the Aloft Hotel. 50 Trinity Place will include a total of 77,310 square feet and 173 hotel rooms. There will also be a ground-floor restaurant and a guest’s only fitness center on the second floor.  The hotel is being developed by Rinaldi Group and designed by Peter Poon Architects. Gace Consulting, PC is the structural engineer. Rodkin Cardinale, PC the building systems engineer, and RA Consultants LLC the geotecnical engineer.
