Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with HSL Properties and operator Desert Hospitality Management, plans to open a Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in Tucson, Arizona. The 291 guest room hotel would open in Q4 2027 after the hotel will receive a multi-million-dollar renovation, including updated guestrooms and suites, a fitness center, a pool, and approximately 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Plans also call for a ballroom and multiple breakout rooms for corporate meetings, association events, weddings, and other gatherings. Omar Mireles is president of HSL Properties.

Developers Trammell Crow Co. and Northland Properties Corp. are proposing to build 248 apartment units a 222 guestroom Sandman Signature Hotel on 5 acres at 2800 and 3421 Grapevine Mills Parkway, in Grapevine, Texas. The hotel would be 75 feet in height and feature an 8,647-square-foot, 275-seat restaurant and a 4,200-square-foot banquet and meeting room. Other amenities include a 1,040-square-foot indoor gym and outdoor pool. Tom Gaglardi is president of Northland. Construction would begin in the Fall of 2026 and take 2 years to complete.

Mohanna Development is proposing to build the Town & Country Village mixed use project that will include hotels, retail and residential components located in El Dorado Hills, California. The project in Bass Lake Hills area is planned to include two hotels each with 150 guestrooms with boutique retail space, a 21,000-square-foot events center with two restaurants and a museum and 112 residential cottages. Town & Country Village would be on 25 acres, north of Highway 50 and east of Bass Lake Road. Nikky Mohanna, is principal at Mohanna Development. Façade Architectural Services is designing the project.
