Hotel Vision Hospitality Group has submitted plans for the 241 guest room hotel. The project would redevelop a collection of low-rise commercial buildings that sit a couple blocks west of the Decatur Square and the MARTA station in Metro Atlanta Georgia. The hotel would feature two Hilton flags under one roof: Homewood Suites by Hilton, an extended-stay brand, and Tempo by Hilton. The hotel project would come to the block bounded by Swanton Way, Commerce Drive and Ponce De Leon Place. The hotel would not have parking onsite. Instead, the development team is negotiating lease agreements with two nearby parking decks. BCA Studios, is the project architect.

After being severely damaged in Hurricane Ian the property owner and operators Continental Hospitality Group and Springboard Hospitality, are proposing to increase the 71-room from a two-building resort to a one-building complex with four floors and 140 rooms. The companies acquired the property two years ago for $27 million. Planner Patrick Vanasse, of The Neighborhood Co. is representing the owners in their redevelopment plans.

Developer Diversified Partners LLC is getting ready build a Cambria Suites Hotel in Southwest Mesa Arizona as part of the E&E at Gateway mixed use development. Tenants lined up for E&E at Gateway include Starbucks, Gateway Urgent Care and the 107 guestroom Cambria Hotel by Choice Hotels. Diversified Partners recently submitted a building permit application for the hotel, which will be 61,795 square feet and will be four stories tall, including a pool and a rooftop deck. There are three current Cambria hotels in Arizona with two in Phoenix and another in Chandler. RKAA Architects and EPS Group Inc. to be the project’s architect and civil engineer, respectively. A general contractor has not been selected. Walt Brown Jr is CEO of Diversified Partners LLC.

Developer Frontier Hospitality Group plans to develop and operate a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, immediately adjacent to the new Iron Tee Golf attraction in the northeast quadrant of Middle and Forest Grove Roads in Bettendorf, Iowa. Construction on the new hotel next door is also set to begin in 2024 with a goal for the 80 guest room $17 million hotel to open in early 2025. The CEO and Co-Owner of Frontier Hospitality Group is Dan Huber.

Developers are proposing to build a 250 guest room boutique hotel at 101 Garden St. in Santa Barbara, California. The project is being proposed by developer Shaun Gilbert and architect Brain Cearnal. The project would including a restaurant and bar/lounge, spa and fitness center. The project is currently going through the design review process with the Santa Barbara Planning Commission.

Developer Mighty Equities is planning a boutique hotel in the Montrose area of Houston, Texas. The proposed Hyde Park Hotel would be located at 702 Hyde Park Blvd. The seven-story hotel would sit on a half-acre lot at the corner of Hyde Park Boulevard and Stanford Street. Hyde Park Hotel would feature 25,000 square feet of food, beverage and entertainment amenities in addition to a pool. The hotel would have two driveways, one opening onto Stanford Street for deliveries and another opening onto Hyde Park Boulevard that would lead to a 54-car parking garage. An additional 25 offsite parking spaces will be available to the west of the hotel on a nearby site on Crocker Street. Patricia Joiner, a the consultant working with the developers. Civil-Surv is the project engineer. The target project complete date is the end of 2025.

A $49 million new eight-story, 252 guest room Hilton Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida will being construction after securing a million permit from the city. The hotel is expected to be completed by 2025. It’s located at 4745 Transformation Way, just south of the Mayo Clinic hospital’s 4500 San Pablo Road campus. The 184,111-square-foot hotel will have 16,000 square feet dedicated to meeting room spaces and the capability host large events with a ballroom. The project is a partnership between Mayo Clinic and Hilton. Whitman Peterson is property manager, William A. Randolph Inc. is the general contractor, and DLR Group is the architect.

The Four Seasons Hotel & Residences at Turtle Creek in Dallas Texas is set to begin construction in January 2024 with a scheduled completion in October 2027. With a construction cost of $475 million, the scope of the Four Seasons project is set to include a 233-key hotel, a four-level underground parking garage, 118 condominiums and 10,000-square-foot ballroom. At a height of 35 floors, the building’s top floor is expected to house the residential units. Carpenter & Co. will develop the hospitality project in conjunction with the Perot Development. Its location is at the corner Turtle Creek Boulevard and Cedar Springs Road. HKS Inc.and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects are designing of the project. The total cost for the development is $750 million. Amenities include restaurants, bars, multiple pools, a spa and health club, in addition to the ballroom.

Developer ADP Solutions led by CEO Vaughn Irons presented plans for a Margaritaville Resort in Riviera Beach Florida. Located at 190 E. 13th St., Marina Village is a city-owned marina along the Intracoastal Waterway featuring an event center, a tiki market and watersports facilities. ADP Solutions has an agreement with Margaritaville Hotels & Resorts to build a hotel at Marina Village. The 150-room hotel would total 83,000 square feet and be developed under its select-service Compass brand. It would feature the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar and Grill, a rooftop restaurant, a pool, and a breakfast bar. There would also be a 875-space parking garage. Project partners include Sonnenblick Development, Tezral Partners, REG Architects and Good Food and Co. to train local residents as hospitality workers for the new hotel.
