Construction of a five-story, 130 guest room AC Hotel by Marriott by developer Insignia Hospitality Group Inc., is expected to begin in Folsom, California’s Palladio retail destination at Broadstone and Palladio Parkways.    At the 1.45-acre site, the hotel would have first-floor lobby/lounge spaces, a breakfast bar, fitness center, bar and meeting rooms. Upper floors would have rooms, with the executive suites on the top floor. Total square footage would be 85,473 square feet. The project is valued at $20.7 million.

Developer Dream Capital Management is planning an eight story Marriott hotel at 751 S Fifth Street at East Bank in Nashville, Tennessee. The 265 guestroom dual branded Marriott would include an outdoor amenity area with a pool, fire pit and outdoor dining and seating areas. The ground-level of the building will offer around 7,000 square feet of retail space. Kimley-Horn and Oda Architecture are designing the project.

Real estate developer Morris Bailey plans to develop a portion of the 310 acre Monmouth Park horse track in Oceanport, New Jersey into to an 80 acre mixed use development that will include a 298 unit residential building, a 200 guestroom hotel, a sports complex and concert venue. Construction is planned to start in the 4th quarter of 2025 and take two years to complete. Dennis Drazin of Darby Development which owns Monmouth Park and is partner in the project.

Construction will soon begin on a $210 million hotel & casino expansion project at Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel in Islandia, New York. The new 110,500-square-foot building will include 1,000 additional video slot machines and a 200-seat food court. A three-and-a-half level, 168,000-square-foot parking garage that will accommodate 500 vehicles bringing the facility’s total parking capacity to 2,000 spaces.  There will also be more than 80 new electric vehicle chargers. The project will also include a new 17,500-square-foot VIP lounge and entertainment area, a 3,500-square-foot space for weddings, parties and corporate events, a high-end restaurant, and renovations to the existing casino, third floor offices and the hotel’s 210 guest rooms. Completion will be in the first quarter of 2026. Suffolk Regional Off-Track Betting Corp owns and operates the property, led by President Phil Boyle. The project is designed by bld Architecture with Aurora Contractors as the general contractor.

Ground has been broken for the new construction of the Edith Hotel a $140 million full service hotel in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.  The four-star, four-diamond hotel will feature 236 rooms with 23,000 square feet of meeting and event space, an upscale full-service restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar and pool deck on the 17th floor, a cafe and a luxury spa and fitness center. Pacific Hospitality Group is the project developer. Gensler is the project Architect. The hotel will be part of the Meritage Collection and will be completed at the end of 2026.
