Hospitality developer New Waterloo unveiled its plans and look for the Albert Hotel, a modern take on a boutique hotel that will be built front and center on historic Main Street in Fredericksburg, Texas. The destination hotel will bring a full service spa, pool, cabana, restaurant, lounge, and event space and fitness center. The 110-bedroom Albert Hotel will span 2 acres from 242 to 248 East Main Street, and is a historic preservation project that will renovate four 19th century buildings into a space that also includes an event, spa and restaurant space to open in 2022. The hotel is being designed by Clayton Korte Architects. Patrick Jeffers is the Chief Development Officer at New Waterloo. Albert Hotel will have three restaurants, two bars, a private dining room and will offer in-room dining. The property will also have an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Guests can also host events in the 3,600-square-foot event space with a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck and event lawn.
