Westwood Collective plans to develop a new hotel near Ohio Wesleyan University in downtown Delaware, Ohio. Proposed for 27 Spring Street, the six- to six-and-a-half-story hotel would have up to 120 rooms and 240 parking spaces. The ground floor would feature an elevated dining concept accessible from both Spring Street and the hotel lobby, while a rooftop lounge is planned for the sixth floor. Additional amenities would include a grab-and-go area showcasing local and alumni-owned products, university artwork and performances, and potentially a student-run coffee concept. The $40 million project is expected to begin construction in summer 2027 and take 15 to 18 months, with completion planned for Q4 2028.
