Sun Development & Management Co. plans to spend at least $30 million to build a 150-room Tapestry on a parking lot at the northwest corner of South Meridian Street and Jackson Place, in downtown Indianapolis Indiana. A 110-room Tapestry hotel was to go into the historic, 12-story Jackson Square building at 233 McCrea St., at a cost of $15 to $18 million. That building will now get another, yet-undisclosed hotel brand. Ratio Architects is designing the hotels for Sun Development. No filings have yet been submitted to the city, although Sun hopes to have financing in place for the project by the end of the year. Sun Development has several other projects in the works around the United States, including in Nashville and Cincinnati, along with a  Hampton Inn/Homewood Suites  project at 414 W. Vermont St. downtown that it hopes to open by the end of 2020.  For more information on this and other upcoming hotel construction and renovation projects in the planning, design, pre-construction and construction phase including who is involved and their contact information and Preferred Vendor Directory please visit: HotelProjectLeads.com and subscribe today.
