Costello Construction will begin the renovation of the Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel and redevelopment project. Costello Construction purchased the 290-room Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel, located on the shores of Lake Kittamaqundi at 10207 Wincopin Cir in Downtown Columbia Maryland in December 2017. The $25m renovation plans include a complete exterior overhaul, two new structural additions boasting 76 uniquely appointed guest rooms, remodeling of all tower rooms and the addition of 6’ wide terraces to all lakefront units. Once complete, the hotel will house a total of 212 spacious guest rooms, a new rooftop pool, a new signature restaurant, a café, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive bar-front terrace with spectacular views of the lake, an exclusive rooftop bar + lounge and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space. The hotel’s two new structural additions, extensive interior-exterior remodeling, and distinct design décor, will convert the hotel up to a four-star Autograph Collection property.
