A site on Federal Highway in Pompano Beach Florida are planning to redevelop it into a Homewood Suites by Hilton. The city’s Development Review Committee will consider the site plan for the 1.1-acre property at 505 and 599 N. Federal Highway. MHG Hotels has the property under contract from MacMillan Real Estate LLC. It currently has a 2,005-square-foot Citgo gas station and a 2,352-square-foot office building. They would both be demolished to make way for the hotel. Totaling 225,910 square feet in nine stories, the hotel would include 163 guest-rooms and a 185-space parking garage. There would be a pool and amenity deck on the fifth floor featuring a fitness center and an activity lawn. The ground level would feature a 790-square-foot patio lounge. Adache Group Architects is designing the project. Neal Patel, is VP of MHG Hotels. MHG Hotels owns 17 hotels and has another two under construction. It has a hotel planned in Hollywood, Florida. The company also owns multifamily and self-storage properties.
