Naples Hotel Group plans to build a five-story, 122-room Home2 Suites by Hilton at 2052 Glass Loop in Clearwater, Florida. Construction will start this year, with the hotel planned to open in mid-2028. The developer filed plans with the Southwest Florida Water Management District on Aug. 3 and submitted a city construction permit application on Aug. 14. Naples Hotel Group will provide development and management services for owner BTEQ LLC, which is led Stephen Baylis. The property is off US Highway 19, across from Celebration Station and next to Windsor Clearwater Apartments. The construction contract is currently out to bid.
