The historic Baker Hotel and Spa in Mineral Wells will start a three year renovation project. The hotel has been closed since 1972. The hotel was recently purchased by Baker Hotel Holdings LP. The renovation project will take three years and cost $65 million. The project team includes: Ryan LLC, La Corsha Hospitality Group, Syndicated Contracting Services and Thiel & Thiel. The renovation will restore the hotel to a luxury resort hotel conference center and spa that will open in 2022 with 157 guestrooms and 20,000 sf of meeting space.
