Developer Sunbeam Properties is set to start demolition for the new construction of a mixed use project in North Bay Village, Florida that will include a Hyatt hotel. Located at 1401 79th St Causeway the project will include: 1,936 residential units, 200,000 sf of class A office space, a 300 guestroom Hyatt hotel and restaurant, 670,000 sf of commercial space including a grocery store, restaurants, entertainment and retail, a production studio, marina and 5,000 parking spaces. The project will include 8-10 towers, rising 650 ft with 7.3 million square ft. PlusUrbana and Kobi Karp are the project designers. BG Group is the demolition contractor.
