Developers are planning to build an Everhome Suites at 8133 E Thorn Drive in Wichita, Kansas. The 123 guestroom extended stay hotel has a proposed opening date of November 2025. Guestrooms have fully-equipped kitchens, spa-style bathrooms and workstations, additional storage and full-size closets. On-site amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, self-service marketplace and guest laundry facilities. A building permit was just issued for the $10.2 million project which is being developed by Highside Development. Wilbert Construction is the general contractor.

Real Estate developer Chuck Kuhn of JK Land Holding LLC is planning a mixed use development at the waterside site in Sterling, Virginia. The property comprises of 225 acres, including the Chantilly Crushed Stone quarry that would become a lake, and 3 million square feet of mixed uses, including multifamily, age-restricted housing units, office, hotel, retail and civic space. JK Land Holding currently has the property in contact and plans to submit a conceptual plan to the county in the coming months.

Developer Stream Real Estate has filed plans for a seven-story hotel on this site on Lower Queen Anne in Seattle Washington across from Seattle Center. The hotel would be branded as a Residence Inn Marriott and be located at 170 Mercer Street. Construction would include demolishing the vacant, 8,036-square-foot office building on the site. The project cost is estimated at $40 million.  Board & Vellum is the project Architect.

The hotel will be located at 545 Double Eagle Ct. in Reno, NV. The 42,661 square-foot, four-story hotel will have a wood-framed design, an exterior of stucco and stone, and 100 guest suites. Construction of the project, which is valued at $10 million, with an estimated completion date set for Summer 2025. Carter Rise Jr., Vice President of Sandpiper Hospitality is the project developer. Bryce Clutts, CEO of Metcalf Builders is the General Contractor. Krishna Paliwal, head of Design & Construction at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the hotel brand’s parent company.

Developer Lexington Partners is planning to redevelop the shoreline shopping center in Westbrook, Connecticut. The plan would include revamping the outlets and building hundreds of new apartments, town homes, a hotel, shops and restaurants. Lexington Partners will partner with the retail center to invest $425 million for the new development.

A 107 guest room, dual-branded Candlewood Suites and Avid hotel has been proposed in the village of Somers, Wisconsin. A hotel has been proposed as part of the Somers Gateway development, which also includes a gas station and restaurants. The hotel would have two flags, a Candlewood Suites and Avid, which are part of IHG Hotels & Resorts. The hotel would have an outdoor pool and conference room. The project applicants are Devin Winter, of Excel Engineering Inc. and Somers Gateway Center LLC, led by Parveen Kumar Bhardwaj. Construction is planned to start later this year or early 2025.

Boxcar Development LLC is planning a $300 million mixed use development including a luxury hotel with retail space and a concert venue on the property of the former CSX Warehouse at Georgia and Pennsylvania streets near Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The hotel would be branded by Sinola and the 4000 person capacity music venue would be operated by Live Nation. In between those two uses would be an area for additional retail and event and gathering space. Sage Hospitality Group would operate the hotel.
