Five Star Capital is proposing a four-story, 118-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Surf City, North Carolina. The project would require rezoning the site from residential district R-15 to conditional extended commercial CZ C-3. Surf City currently has only a few hotels, including the Loggerhead Inn and Suites and Tiffany’s Motel. Michelle Tumur is president of Five Star Capital.
