The Neptune Resort in Fort Myers, Florida is planning an expansion project that would double the number of guestrooms. After being severely damaged in Hurricane Ian the property owner and operators Continental Hospitality Group and Springboard Hospitality, are proposing to increase the 71-room from a two-building resort to a one-building complex with four floors and 140 rooms. The companies acquired the property two years ago for $27 million. Planner Patrick Vanasse, of The Neighborhood Co. is representing the owners in their redevelopment plans.
