A four-story hotel that would combine two separate brands is being proposed for Franklin Wisconson’s Ballpark Commons mixed-use development near Milwaukee. The hotel would feature a 47-room Sleep Inn and a 51-room MainStay Suites. Sleep Inn is an economy-priced hotel chain and MainStay Suites is an extended-stay chain. Both brands are licensed by Choice Hotels International Inc. The $12 million development would include an indoor pool, guest laundry, and fitness room, community room for gatherings and breakfast and exterior patio, according to the proposal. The hotel would be built on 3.6 acres on the west side of South 76th Street, southeast of Crystal Ridge Road. It would be developed by BraveHart Development LLC.
