Developer Cannon, Austin & Cannon is planning the construction of a $100 million mixed use project that will include a hotel as part of their Carrefour at the Gateway project in Germantown Tennessee. The first two phases of the project are set to cost $100 million and include about 100 apartments, a 150,000-square-foot office building, a 174-room hotel, and most of the project’s 100,000 square feet of retail. The apartments, would offer an elevated pool deck, a pet bathing salon, and exercise options including hot yoga. Office amenities are set to include high ceilings, Poplar Avenue signage, and an abundant parking ratio. The hotel will feature an industrial chic design and loft-style guest rooms, along with its own pool. FAB Studio is the project’s architect; BEI Basharkhah Engineering Inc. is the structural engineer; Allen & Hoshall is the civil engineer. Construction on the project’s first phase would begin at the end of 2020 and finish by the spring of 2022. That phase would include the 100 apartments and 150,000-square-foot office building, both situated on top of ground-floor retail. Phase two, which would include the hotel, would start after the first but finish around the same time.  For more information on this and other upcoming hotel construction and renovation projects in the planning, design, pre-construction and construction phase including who is involved and their contact information and Preferred Vendor Directory please visit: HotelProjectLeads.com and subscribe today.
