The Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati Ohio will shut down on New Year’s Eve. The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority has a purchase contract for the hotel and to close on the property by Feb. 14. Plans are too demolish the hotel for the construction of a new convention center hotel as well as a potential expansion of the Duke Energy Convention Center. The new development will include a 1,000-room headquarters hotel, along with a convention center expansion.
