A mixed-use development is being proposed in downtown Titusville Florida. KD Construction Inc. wants to develop 384 luxury apartments, two parking garages, a hotel and retail space for a site south of U.S. Highway 1 and north of Garden Street. The project, called Horizon at Sand Point, would cost $73 million to build. Other parties involved in the project include Epic Consultants as civil engineer; CES Design Group Inc. as architect; Craig A. Smith & Associates as surveyor; Architectural Alliance Landscape as landscape architect; and LTG Engineering and Planning as traffic consultant. Apartment amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, business center, clubhouse, pool, table tennis, video games, dog park and more. The buildings will be built with durable concrete and hurricane impact glass. The developer has not submitted building plans to the city. The project must also obtain approvals from the city’s community redevelopment agency before construction may begin.
