The construction of a new hotel in downtown Coral Springs Florida is expected to start in March. The proposed Hyatt Place will be built on the west side of Cornerstone, the apartment and retail complex going up on the southwest corner of Sample Road and University Drive. The hotel will have 144 rooms and be developed by ADËLON Capital and managed by AD1 Management. It will also have a 4,000-square-foot rooftop bar and restaurant. In the second building, the project’s main developer, Predeso Property Investments, has proposed constructing 361 apartments, 771 spots in a parking garage, and 23,696-square-feet of retail space on the first floor. If all the plans are approved, Cornerstone would have at least 700 apartments and about 41,500-square-feet of retail space.
