Developer Michael Rosenfeld  of Woodridge Capital Partners plans to transform a 4.53-acre site on the corner of Garden and East Yanonali streets, currently used mostly for storage containers, into a hotel with 119 standard guestrooms and 131 extended stay guestrooms.

The Santa Barbara, California Planning Commission on Thursday gave the project its early support at a concept review hearing. The hotel design includes restaurants, bar, lounge, library, laundry rooms, a pool, and a roof deck.  Architect Brian Cearnal is designing the project.
