Rockbridge Capital and partners Wood Companies and Schiff Capital Group are planning to break group next year on a mixed use tower that will include a 200 room boutique hotel, 11,000 sf of retail, 150 residential units and 90,000 sf of class A office space and a 352 space parking garage. The building will be 26 stories and be built in the Short North area of downtown next the the North Market. The project is being designed by NBBJ Architects.

Developer Hawkins Way Capital headed by Lew Wolff is planned to build a Moxy Hotel in downtown San Jose. The hotel will be located at the northeast corner of North Almaden Blvd and West Santa Clara Street. The hotel will have 272 guestrooms with a height of 19 stores. The property address is 8 N. A hotel and mixed use development is being planned for uptown Dallas. The project at Cedar Springs Road and Routh Street just south of Turtle Creek north of downtown.
 
Developer Ryan Cos along with architect GFF and Greenway Investment will build the mixed use project that will include office, residential, hotel and retail buildings.
 
Plans call for the office tower to be built on Cedar Springs at Routh, with the residential building to the east across from the Quadrangle. A high-rise hotel would occupy the corner of Cedar Springs and Fairmount. Much of the block is now occupied by small retail buildings and surface parking lots.
 
Ryan and GFF plan to build a park through the center of the new high-rise complex and put all the parking underground.
 
Ryan hopes to start construction on the development next year, with the first phase opening in late 2022 and early 2023.

A SpringHill Suites Hotel in Revere Mass will begin construction. The four-story hotel will have 168 rooms as well as a swimming pool, a gym, a restaurant and a Starbucks cafe.
 
CR Architecture + Design is the architect for the hotel, which will abut an oceanfront boardwalk. Callahan Construction Managers will serve as the contractor. Lixi Group based in Mount Laurel, NJ is the developer behind the project. Construction will be completed in two years.

The Melbourne, Florida City Council approved a site plan for the construction of a six-story Marriott branded Aloft Hotel at the old Sun Trust Bank property. The hotel will consist of 281 guestrooms. The Aloft hotel site is the 3-acre grass, asphalt and dirt parking area between New Haven and Melbourne avenues, between Nomad Café and Blossom House Florist.
 
The hotel will feature five floors of hotel rooms, a pool deck, meeting and conference rooms, a fitness center, a gathering area, an eating area and a lounge. Samir Patel, CEO of 360 Hospitality Group is the developer of the project. LS3P Associates is the project architect. Construction is planned to start by the end of 2019 and take 15 months to complete.

Prominence Hospitality Group is planned to build a Home2Suites Hotel in the Milwaukee area on Port Washington Road in Mequon. Rehan Zaid, the companies founder and CEO stated that Prominence currently manages 19 hotels around the Midwest.
 
The project is currently in the planning phase and has not been approved for construction. The next planning commission meeting is Sept 9th when the proposal will be reviewed.

A new Aloft Hotel is being planned for a site in Sandy Spring’s Georgia on Barfield Road.
The hotel is part of the NorthPlace mixed use project which will begin construction at the end of this year.
 
The Aloft Marriott branded hotel is being built by RevPAR Development headed by Pete Patel, president and CEO. Childress Klein and MidCity Real Estate Partners with co-develop the office and retail portion of the projects. The hotel will be located at 6403 Barfield Road at Mount Vernon Highway, just west of Ga. 400. NBJ Architecture is designing the project.

Leva Hotels & Resorts a new hotel company plans to build new hotels in the GCC region. The companies partners include Trizac Holding Group and Siraj Finance. Leva recently opened their first property in Dubai at Mazaya Centre. JS Anand, founder and CEO of Leva stated their next hotels are planned to be built in Jordan and Iraq with future expansion plans for Africa, Asia and Europe.

The owners of the Westport Rehabilitation Complex plan to renovate and covert the building to a 5-star hotel. The complex is located at: 1 Burr Rd, Westport Connecticut 06880.
 
The owners: 1 Burr Road LLC are moving forward with a proposal to convert the facility into a 50 guestroom hotel. Currently Traditions Senior Management operates the facility whose CEO is R.B. Bridges.
 
Plans are to close the facility at the end of 2019 and begin the process of converting the building to a hotel which will take several years to complete.

The Marriott Tucson University Park Hotel plans to renovate its 250 guest rooms and suites, 24,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces and all public areas and dining outlets.
 
The $18 million renovation will include a modern design to all 250 guest rooms and suites, refreshed meeting spaces, lobby and public areas and new dining areas. The changes include the outdoor pool and spa to be transformed into a multi-use terrace for private and semi-private use for up to 100 guests. The hotel will remain open with specific areas of the property closed during the renovation. The project will be completed in December of 2019. The hotel’s general manager is Mark VanBuren.
