The first phase of the $65 million Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel renovation project in Muai Hawaii is underway, with a redesign of the 180-room Kauaʻi Wing, additional floor parking, a renovation to the courtyard including additional native Hawaiian plants, and the addition of a new beachfront restaurant. Originally build in 1964 the hotel offers 432 guestrooms and a four acre courtyard. The three phase project will be completed in the 4 th quarter 2020 and will include the renovation of the Lanai, Mau and Molokai wings and restaurants. Mike White is the hotel general manager. Swinerton is serving as the construction manager on the project.
