The Ambassador Hotel in downtown Jacksonville Florida will be renovated and converted to La Quinta Inn & Suites. Developer Augustine Development Group and Axis Hotels plan to convert the historic building at 420 N Julia Street into a 127 guestroom La Quinta Inn & Suites. The total project cost will be $15 million. Interior demolition has begun and construction will begin September 2020 and be complete by March 2022.
